Services for NonProfit Executives and Team Members

Coaching, Mentoring and Advising

Coaching is used to sharpen the skills of individuals who are identified as future organization or agency leaders.

Coaching is used to develop leaders within the organization without removing them from their current day-to-day responsibilities.

Coaching may be extremely effective in times of change—when assuming a new role requires new skills yet undeveloped. Coaching is focused on the ‘functional’ aspects of the workplace.

Mentoring is a more personal relationship. A mentor may provide personal and/or professional development. Often times a mentor is a person in an executive position or with executive level experience who is willing and able to help and guide you through the system, or help with personal growth.

Mentoring relationships may be formal or informal. Mentoring is focused on the ‘relational’ aspects of the workplace.

Advising is a version of consulting. Consultants usually advise organizations and individuals in the same field, whereas advisors use their many years of accumulated experience from many sectors to guide individuals and organizations.

Advisors usually have enough general knowledge of organizational functions that they are able to apply their advice to almost any aspect of the organization itself, or the individuals employed.

Whatever your level of need, Catherine Reynolds is ready and able to coach, mentor, or serve as advisor to your nonprofit agency, and current or future leadership.
